ERM Division Abstract Submission Reminder and Request for Reviewers

Dear ERM Members,
We hope you are all having a wonderful start to your semesters, and we look forward to your receiving your abstract for the 2025 ASEE Annual Conference being held from June 22-25 in Montreal!
Reminder: Paper and Workshop Submission Deadlines!
Abstracts must be submitted through NEMO by the deadline of October 1 at 11:59PM Eastern Time, and ASEE HQ has announced that there will not be extensions to conference deadlines this year. Note that the draft paper deadline is January 15, 2025 – please plan accordingly!
As you peruse the ERM Call for Papers, please be aware that we’ve added a new ‘Research Brief’ paper format. Research Brief papers describe a narrower subset of findings from a completed study (rather than a concise version of full results) with the intention that a longer paper is in preparation for journal publication. They should be approximately 3-6 pages long and will not be considered for Best Paper Awards.
Proposals for ERM sponsored special sessions, workshops, and panels are also due by October 15 through this link: https://forms.gle/HvQzbynL38pBdYdC8. See the call for papers for more details on each type of submission.
Volunteer to be an ERM Reviewer!
For those of you who have reviewed for ERM in the past or have officially signed up to be on the ERM listserv, we have just sent out a request for reviewers. Please consider being a reviewer, and if you are a member of several divisions, even volunteering to review one paper is extremely valuable. We literally cannot do this work without your help! Also, if you know of anyone who is interested in reviewing or someone who should have received a reviewer request and didn’t, please email jessica.deters@unl.edu orcassandra.mccall@usu.edu to be added to the list!
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!
Thanks,
Your 2025 ERM Co-Program Chairs
